Life on the road: Feed me

Kangaroo Valley, New South Wales, Australia
We've taken to finding our food as and when we come across it:

The seemingly never-ending string of fudge shops means we never go hungry . Our favourite has to be 'The Fridge'; quite literally a self-service fridge and honesty box by the roadside, complete with dairy cow in the background.

While the multiple wineries... well :) Although most of them seem to be closed to visitors outside of the weekend, so we do sometimes go thirsty. David was particularly upset to find Fern Gully* Winery shut, as he was sure there'd be some magical properties involved.

(oh and of course... every village seems to have a butcher with award winning sausages)

* Fern Gully: Australian cartoon, akin to the movie Avatar: humans causing destruction where they have no business being; a magical tree; one human who 'changes' to become more like the indigenous species... Except, instead of oversized blue creatures, he gets shrunk down to the size of the resident Fairies! Great movie.
