I'm sitting eating my breakie, looking out over the Mallacoota Inlet and fondly remembering a picture that David took of our campervan in a similarly picturesque spot ten years ago. Now he seems to be on a mission to emulate his previous 'masterpiece' -- as he calls it -- or even outdo himself, by taking likewise pictures: of the van in amazing places.

He's currently shooting the van in the morning light of Mallacoota (I've got to admit, we have a direct view of the Inlet and it is wonderful) .

Yesterday it was Eden -- the same evening we met Roo -- where there was nothing between our van and the still waters of the lagoon. The day before that, we watched the sun go down, and broke our fast, overlooking Congo's inlet and the break water beyond. I've got to admit though, there really is nothing like going to sleep staring at the stars -- through the sun roof, while warm in our bed -- and waking up to watch the waves.

But the photo obsession? ...I wonder if he's found out about Spaceships' (where we hired the van) competition for best photo?
