The title of this was going to be "Mostly Uneventful Days" but that's not nearly as grabbing, is it?

After blowing things off on Friday and Monday and effectively taking a four-day weekend, I decided to buckle down to work Tuesday and Wednesday . The only thing much eventful was an e-mail from Ellena (my ex-wife for the few who wouldn't know that) that they had to put our last cat to sleep yesterday morning. She'll be missed. She was about 14 years old. I'm adding a couple of pictures of her as a tribute. Ignore the caterpillar on my lip in the one picture.

But the title of the post was not incorrect or misleading. For the second time that I know of, I've made the Saipan newspapers related to a bike race. I'd give you the link, but apparently they wanted to conserve paper online; my name only made it to the print edition. It was for the volunteer work in the Tough Love II mountain bike race last weekend.
