Today I had to wake up at 3 a.m. I almost missed the bus! We drove all
day and stopped at various McDonald's along the way. Which was
definitely exciting. We watched some movies. The Truth About Cats and
Dogs and That Thing You Do. I love that movie. I mostly hung around
Lindi, Erin, Rob, Kevin, Holly and Traci. If the bus ride is this fun,
I can't wait for the actual trip. After we got to the hotel, we went to
NBC studios and got standby tickets for Conan O'Brien. Then we ate at
Roy Rogers (fish filet), went back to the hotel and then we walked back
to NBC and didn't get into the show. Then, we took the subway to lower
Manhattan and then a ferry to Staten Island. We saw the Statue of
Liberty and took the ferry back. We walked to Pier 17, had supper at
Unos (delicious pizza) and went shopping at the mall there and I bought
cool Japanese cartoon stuff for Shylo and Lisa. We took the subway back
at the World Trade Center and finally got back to the hotel at 10:30
p.m.
