We all lazed around in the heat until lunch. Gabriel's family has a housekeeper so she made us amazing fried fish.

We went to the zoo but it was closed, so we went to another park that had monkeys and sloths in it . We only saw the monkeys.

Then we went to the docks to buy some tickets. The boat to Manaus leaves only once a week, on Wednesday, so I bought one of those. Then I needed to do something before then so I bought another ticket to an island nearby.

Michelle and Gabriel had been bickering all day about lots of things, there was some issue about a keychain that Michelle was supposed to bring from Paris but she didn't know about it so she was mad.
