In the morning there was no breakfast (even though a sign said breakfast was 7-9 am) and the jerk only gave me 10 reais back for that "mistake". Tell me where can you get breakfast for 10 reais?

I went back to the hospital and they told me to come back at 9 . When I did, the doctor gave me antibiotics finally. I'm pretty sure this should work this time.

After I bought my pills, the bus to joanes was coming down the street. I could not believe my luck. I jumped on it and for four reais they brought me up the highway to another beach. This one was about the same as the last one but there were fewer people and only one hotel/restaurant.

I ate lunch there, which wasn't as good as yesterday's lunch, but the environment was so peaceful I decided to stay the night. In the morning I would take a bus to soare, the last stop on my tour of this island.

I snoozed all afternoon with my book in a hammock and a rainbow even came out after the sprinkle of rain.

Sleeping at night though, was out of the question. The chalet was too stuffy so I had to open the window. That let all the mosquitos in. Why doesn't anyone have screens here?

Then the neighbors were really loudly having sex. We were basically sharing the same cabin with a thin wall in between. So I decided to take a shower and sing along to cherry poppin daddies at the top of my lungs. They shut up pretty fast.

Then the mosquito net on my bed didn't fit and a bunch of them got in. I got lots of bites and had to turn the light on periodically to kill them all.

I probably slept three hours all night.
