Some gay guys offered to take me to their house and wait for the bus. I thought it was at 6 a.m., so we waited until 5:30 to go. Turns out it left at 5:30 and I got there half an hour late. Crap. 

I had to wait five more hours until the next one. I walked around and bought some brigadieros to bring home. 

I slept all the way back to Sao Paulo, three or four hours, solid. No sleep last night really makes sleeping on the bus easier. 

I bought 70 reis worth of pastries to bring home on impulse, we'll see how well they travel.

I took the bus to the airport and found a hotel with a shuttle nearby for only 150 reais. I slept like a baby.
