Loads of Churches

Napoli, Campania, Italy
Day 2. Up and about around 9:00. Woken during the night by fireworks ! and the church bells of the church two doors down. Breakfast was included and consisted of the usual cereal, cold meats and pastries.
We picked a walk called World Heritage Wander which covered the centro historico . This was basically one narrow cobbled street approx 1 mile long and was flanked by numerous churches and one cathedral. They all were very different and varied from very plain to fancy and over the top.
Highlights- Naples Cathedral protestors climbed up to the organ and protested ?
Veiled Christ a sculpture from 1753 which is magnificent.
Just back from having dinner in a small place round the corner. Nice meal of spaghetti and good chat to an older Aussie couple.
Overall a good day but sore feet now.
Take care xx
