Ravello, Campania, Italy
Up around 9:00 and breakfast of coffee and Spanish ? croissants. Decided to have a drive out to a place called Ravello. It's up in the hills but to get there we had to go down hill, along the highway from hell and back up. Just for interest the Amalfi Coast road is about the width of Eaton Road/ Moorside Rd/Wellington Rd. Add crazy hairpins, crazy drivers, scooters and coaches then it's one hell of a drive. Anyway down, along and back up. Ravello very nice village based around a town square. Mainly tourist shops but very nice. Some great views piccies attached.
After a few hours we decided to head back . Down, along but kept going and drove through Amalfi, Praiano and turned round at Positano. All are stunning places but no where to park so pretty much drive through. Turned round and managed to stop on the way back to take some photos.
Dinner at a new restaurant which was recommended by the Belgians, they went home this morning. Very nice. Had mixed starter of ham, cheese, salami between us. Then we both had seafood spaghetti type dishes as a main.
Hope every bodies ok and special love to Victoria xxxx
