We stopped at Mungindi at the Dusty Crust for morning tea - a little gem of cafe, everything home made, the owners used to run the Vanilla Pod bakery in Ascot, Brisbane (Teresa & Charles).
We headed out to the showground to watch the Novice Campdraft competition - very entertaining and really made us appreciate the horsemanship required for this truly Australian sport
.
We arrived in Moree in time to have a quick look round town, before setting up camp at the Gwydir carapark - we like this place because the Artesian baths are in the park, and they are superb.
Tony, Sue & Marg went to the wine tasting put on by a local winery - $5 to taste all his wines - to be honest it wasn't our taste in wine, Tony J made the right choice by opting for a swim in the pools instead - the 3 of us followed him and enjoyed them far more than the wine.
