New York, New York, United States
First stop Grand Central Station, to organise a spot on the 12:30 tour, Frannie our guide explained that 2013 is the 100 year anniversary of the Grand Central Station Complex. It is quite amazing to see the huge open spaces, high ceilings and ramp ways to make accessing the station with luggage as easy as possible - very forward thinking for its day. They have incorporated a food court which focuses on typical American fare, so we returned later in the day for a Pizza and beer, sadly the new York cheese cake place had closed, so we had to deal with a Tony tantrum.
Surprisingly it was an excellent meal .

Lunch was at Eataly, Wow ! We have never seen anything like it - the best of the best food from Italy everywhere you look. A huge place with fresh food to buy and take home like meat, fish, fresh bread, fresh pasta, beers and dry goods. In addition there are multiple specialty Resteraunt areas to dine in - we opted for a Porchetta roll the Sunday special,at the rotisserie .
We couldn't get near the Eataly pub, so we went round the corner to an Irish pub to take the weight of four feet and drink beer of course.

Back on our hooves, we galloped via the subway to Times Square - just hanging out, walking around, visiting stores like M & M's, patting the mounted police horse and generally doing what tourists do - completed the day.
