Canal tour of Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
A short taxi ride to the nearest stop for the hop on hop off canal boat tour. A bright yellow boat appeared, and we spent a good few hours cruising the canals and marveling at the huge houses, even bigger boats and some large iguana lizards that languished on the edge of the canals.

Terry and Rick knew a good spot for lunch, on the beach - so we hopped off and headed to the spot . After lunch we slowly explored the area on the way back to the hop on spot. The return journey took us past the venue for one of the worlds largest boat shows, preparation for it was underway - this explained the ship full of boats moored next to the Veendam - they were being shipped form Europe for the show.

An easy day, in a very glitzy part of the USA.
