Arrived at 7th Ranch RV Resort around 3:30 pm. $40 night with Escapees discount. This is a lovely park dotted with wild flowers and an “in the country” ambiance with a beautiful view. We had a very windy drive up from Rapid City SD. Stopped for diesel fuel at a Flying Jay on the way. 42.869 gals. At 43.499/gal for a total of $150.00.
It was a weird way to find the RV resort. We exited I90 then had to turn left making a u-turn left again to get entrance to the park from the other side of I90. There was a hard packed gravel road leading up to the park. We took it easy for the first night. We didn’t sleep well the night before because the Spyder was having problems and wouldn’t switch from reverse to first gear. Come to find out that the engine oil was low and picking up a quart of oil at Rice Honda seem to fix the problem. Fingers crossed!
