The winds gave us clear visibility this morning so we thought we’d have another go at Logan Pass. But due to the fire situations running water had been cut off up there - portapotties only.
We saw one of the historical Red Buses doing their tours. This and the Glacier Shuttles were the only ones allowed to drive the Going To The Sun Road - no public vehicles. At least we could ride the 17 miles to Logan’s Pass.
We took lots more pictures and also stopped at Sun Point Lookout. There are all kinds of cool hiking trails. We could see rain clouds building so kept going.
We made a quick stop at the end of our route and headed back to have lunch at Two Sisters we had a delicious lunch of bacon and cheddar quiche and potato broccoli soup topped with huckleberry pie and huckleberry ice cream. So good!
Then back to St. Mary’s Visito Center to explore and watch a documentary. After a little shopping at the beautiful St. Mary Lodge, we headed to the RV. The rain came after dinner.
