The tour books tell you it will take about 4 hours to see this place. Yep!! It does. First because its
so huge, you keep gettting lost , second cause you go in one door go out another , and sometimes
it puts you in a different hallway .

Then also because it is very interesting. There is so much to look at and so much to see. When you look out a window it has a different courtyard . In the back are massive gardens. Most every plant that is edible, medical, used for dye or fibers,is in this garden. It is lovely, and interesting.
There are about 21/2 hectacres of gardens. Paths leading everywhere. There are tours if you want
to hear about each plant. I said many of the states of Mexico have donated some plants to this garden. They also have a nursery.

The Museum starts from early 14 century. There is pottery , carvings, Military pictures,swords,
some very beautiful china with gold trim!!! Crystal goblets, Mexican cooking crocks, distillers.
Just about anything you can think of.

I am not much on art, don't claim to know much. They had an exhibit here as well and I must admit
we did not spend much time here.

Then you come out and go around the corner to the church.
What a church. Oh my, its lovely

Your neck gets a crink in it from looking up. Gold everywhere.You can not use flash in it so the
pictures did not come out. But if you are in Oaxaca this is a must see!!

Then out to Centro and another great meal and people watching.
