There is a wonderful cooking school in Oaxaca Mexico.
It is called " Seasons of my Heart Cooking School"
It is great . It is lovely, and it is fun!!

My host gave Myself, her sister and her sisters friend a gift of a one day cooking class.
And it was all day. We had so much fun.

It started out with a cheese class, showing you how to make cheese from scratch.
You start with some stuff from the lining of a cows stomach , add some brown liquid stuff, stir for awhile pour off the whey and you have soft cheese, add some hot water stir for just a bit and you have string cheese, roll in a ball and ready.

Then we had a tomatoes soup sorta stuff with soft cheese in the middle of it with corn tortillas and black beans for brunch, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh wonderful!!

Then came the baskets with all the vegetable needed to prepare each dish. She told us about the foods where they came from how they originated.

Then it was off to school.
What fun.
We laughed, talked and helped each other prepare a 5 course meal.
Then we all sat down and ate way too much!!
