This stretch along the coast of CA,Oregon,and Wash, is some of the most beautiful scenery you will ever see.

There is beach combing, Jade hunting , rock hopping, hiking galore . Lovely camps at reasonable prices (until northern CA).

I love this tour. Just taking our time. Finding the best prices we can for camping. Finding any treasure along the way. I have pictures of rocks and more rocks, of ocean scenes and more ocean scenes.

The roads are winding, but so worth the extra time. Just so lovely.

We had wonderful campgrounds until the coastal CA state campgrounds. There the campgrounds are nothing special, no hookups but still $35. a night , needless to say we did not spend much time in the top half of CA.
Moved right along to the border of Oregon.

Hey!! There is a great campground just past Brookings Oregon. Harris campground is $21 a night full hookups and beautiful scenery ,wonderful hiking and Brookings isn't even a mile away!!!

We are forest service camp tonight. It is sheltered from the wind, and very pretty but not close to the beach. OH well, maybe tomorrow.
