When we went to Panama we learned right away that you go to a cafe and order what you think

  you want . Then you eat what you get. Sometimes it was a pleasant surprise and we found out

  we like a lot of things we would not have known to try. Other times it was a long time till

  breakfast.

well I have figured out that a Thai massage is a bit like that.. So far all great ,but thinking I was

  getting a back and shoulder massage ------- the first one I got for my daughter.(she wanted me

  to get one for her,) ........she said she

  didn't feel it (I have no idea why it didn't work for her in Tucson ). It felt great in Thailand! It was

  wonderful ! 

Then the second"............she was this tiny little thing ......and I'm not sure a sumo wrestler could

  have elbowed me, kneed me.....or worked me over any better. 

I had had no idea you could lay on your stomached and touch your shoulder blades with your

  toes!

  I hurt for two days......but it sure, felt good!,

then today I go in an ask first girl for the same massage as the very first one I got .......she worked

  on my feet and legs for an hour... Believe me I'm not complaining , I feel great.


but now I'm afraid to ask for a particular massage. I might miss out on a great one by asking for

  a ho hum one. 

Massages here are between 180 and 300 bhats that's about $4.50. -$9. For an hour....

Sorry, But it does feel wonderful .


Ok ok so on to other things

this is going to be an odds and ends piece since we are leaving Northern Thailand, we have a

  few pictures that we want to share but they didn't really fit anywhere

so with that we are saying goodbye to Chaing Mai . We have stayed here longer then we wanted

  because it was said to be easier to get a visa renewal.

We have rode the train up here , flew into Bangkok, been in yuk tuk , red truck, and taxi. So felt 

we should tak the bus. Admitted they say they are luxury. So will let you know. TVs on every seat 

lots of leg room. Stretch out and get a good night sleep!.

 

So on to a very nice VIP Bus and headed to Hau Hin ..... 12 1/2 hours overnight . South of

  Bangkok......the beach. Yea. Ocean!! That is on the

  southern part of the peninsula of Thailand.

we leave tomarrow which is your today for the number 5 recommended beach in Thailand . Will

  work our way to #1 as we head to Maylasia.


We tried our first Food from India today! Loved what we got , I chickened out and got mild

   chicken curry and naan buttered . Roy had some kind of a chicken dish as well and we both

  were stuffed!.
