We left at 8am

rain, rain, and more rain .

What an absolutely beautiful ride. 

Just wish it would have been clearer, and we could have stopped for pictures.

these Hugh mountains just rise up , sometimes nothing by them just these Hugh pillars all by

  themselves.  

The fog swirling around them and dark clouds everywhere.

lush jungle foliage ,thick and in some places impenetrable . You'd be lost quickly trying to find

  your way out of the dense growth.. Although just wait a bit.......when you hear a car head

  toward it.

We were driving about 2 1/2 hours in a mini van ,we were the only ones riding and at the cost of

 about $20 . For the both of us. For a chauffeured ride.

  Not sure how they make any money. Transportation in Thailand is really cheap by 

bus or vans.


We have finally seen what the rainy season is like. Two days of almost constant rain, has Roy an

  antsy boy.

the change in scenery has helped I think. But I think we are to have one more day of rain then

  two beautiful ones.

staying on the beach in a nice hotel with a view of the sea.

settled into the hotel and still raining hard.

I guess we will just wear out a deck of cards lent to us from reception. TV and Internet , so we

  do have things to do.
