Up early....of course !
went out and found us something to eat.
Then hit the beach.
it is really an incredible scene. Huge limestone mountains just standing tall .
some have the sea around them, others on land but just these huge pillars. Some have
incredible formations on them or caves in them from the erosion of wind and rain.
Many of them are so covered in vines and bushes .
watched a kite surfer on the water today but he was having trouble, the water was pretty rough
and the wind pretty strong. He just couldn't get things to work right.
we watched some kids playing on the beach, then a couple of Thai children came up and seem to
want to play in the sand beside them. The dad yelled down from the beach for them to play
with them and the little boy yells back" but dad , we can't play with them, they don't understand
Our laungage"!
we then got on a truck taxi and headed to Krabi.
ao nang is a really nice tourist town, right on the beach, tourist shops and tourists everywhere.
it is nice but Roy and I seem to gravitate to more of the local scene.
we went to Krabi ....
Krabri has 2 main streets that cross in the middle and very unique stop lights,
This handsome guy holding his luggage is the stop lights.
There is a river that forms the one side of town right now not very pretty because of all the rain.
its brown and muddy .
wewalked around about an hour was looking for some place to eat. Stepped up to a street cafe
and it start to pour . Decided this cafe would bee just fine till it quit raining. And did it ever rain.
They had to pull the side tables in to keep them dry,
this is not bad photography... This is rain!
you know how American Express says "don't leave home with out it?"
well ill here it really is not a good idea to leave home without an umbrella!!
