The adventure of finding our way around in a strange country seems to be our main goal, so

  today we headed out early ,we need to find the train

  station .  


 Since we know we are going to go in a whole lot of circles to get to our objective, we

just plan on lots of smiles, lots of pointing, and a lot of very nice people eventually getting us to

  where we want to go..YAHOO 

Took most of the morning but got train tickets to Georgetown Malaysia. 

 Found where we can

  store our bags, as we have to check out of hotel by 11am.

  And we leave on the train until 9:30pm

its the night train and arrives at 5:30 am.

we wanted to take the day train ,but it doesn't arrive until 11:30pm. 

 We didn't want to be walking

  the streets trying to find our way around to our hotel at close to midnight 

 

Now for fun

decided to take the city monorail and see how lost we could get .

Found our China Town stop and off we got.

meandering around (sounds better than lost) we stumble upon China Town. 

We didn't think it was because 

i had expected pretty buildings , but it was just streets and alleys ,and buildings full of lots of

stuff to buy. (Bummer I only have a backpack). 

I I know two girls that would love the kites we found. But how would I get them home?

 

beautiful dresses and lots of food.

   We stayed with Thai food , then later thought we should have

  gone with Malaysian . Will try that tomorrow .

 

we then wandered around and found some lovely temples . 

When asking directions from some other tourists they told us about a mosque .

so circled around where we had already been and a few wrong turns we found it.

we had not planned to come to Maylasia so have no tour books and rely on hotel Internet until I

  figure out the SIM card Internet in Maylaysia.
