The old train station is 103 years old. It has a moorish look to it, it is a beautiful sight.

i love old buildings , there is such a timeless feel to them, almost as if you listened very close

  you'd hear all kinds of stories from years of watching people come and go .

lovers saying goodbye, maybe for the last time. 

  A young mother crying , she's tired and needs help from the husband with his arm around her,

  soothing her. 

An old couple holding hands, a life time of struggles on their faces , but devotion in every look

  and touch, as he helps her onto the train.

can you even imaging all the stories a 103 year old train station could tell?



2011 they opened KLSentral


 KL Sentral is modern, the monorail , several express train, the regular trains that run from one

end of the country to the other, and the mall are all

  combined in one place .

it is A very busy mix of shoppers , backpackers from all over the world, tourists with roller luggage

Business men and women with briefcases

you have muslin women , Islam women, some are completely covered all in black, others

wear the most beautiful long dresses, with lovely head scarfs ,with sparkles and jewels .

people from all over the world pass thru here.

 

in Edgar , or even Phoenix you just do not get this sense of awe . 

We become so self centered and so focused on us and our own life's .

traveling really helps me appreciate Roy.  

To realize how blessed I am .

how much freedom I have.

i love traveling to see the sights. But also because you get a much better sense of what you 

really have.

As we were crossing the street to get better pictures, we met an older than us couple from

Austrailia, got to talking with them and they were headed to an aviary . So we followed them .


this place was a lovely nature walk , we spent about 4 hours meandering thru all the paths,

And waterfalls . They boasted 31 different kinds of egrets and 300 different varieties. Of birds.

 

I was really hoping for a lot of beautiful birds, that's one thing I have really noticed on this trip .

the lack of colorful birds in Thailand and Malaysia.

but the park was truly lovely and we did enjoy getting above the city and strolling in the shaded

  paths
