Another disappointment here I'm afraid, but at least the temperature is improving and warming up a little as we head south.
 
We tried the tourist (TAT) office but they could barely manage to provide a map let alone advise on a bicycle rental shop . Failing that we walked around the old city walls but found little of interest. 
 
The free Thai movement museum which was conveniently located next to our hotel, was actually very interesting. I was just a little disappointed at the lack of English info signs. If you are passing through, is worth stopping just to see this.
 
The highlight was the night market, just next to Victory Gate. The food was really good, so good we had to order a second portion. They could surprisingly speak reasonable English and accommodated a spicy or not so spicy request quite easily. 
 
If you are planning to go here then I really suggest doing some research in advance. Don't just turn up on a whim and leave disappointed as we did.
