Drizzle was just fine on Bonavista

Trinity, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
From the Avalon Peninsula, we made our way north, stopping en route in Brigus to participate in its annual blueberry festival. We arrived on the Bonavista Peninsula in late afternoon where we spent 4 nights at Skerwink Hostel in Trinity East. There was fog and drizzle at times, but that did not stop us from hiking the beautiful coastal trails that exist here, including the spectacular Skerwink trail and the Fox Island hike. We strolled around the picturesque little village of Trinity, drove out to its lighthouse, learned about the plight of the cod fishermen in Bonavista and witnessed a carboard box boat race in the nearby fishing community of Champney's West.
