Tom and Ed went for a run, then we caught a taxi to the market. It is very similar to markets in Palm Springs etc. people were selling their wares but not a lot of fresh produce. There were some dried fruits and nuts. Sharon bought a small purse and wallet. I bought a small wallet and the guys didn't buy anything. SURPRISE SURPRISE LOL.  
Then we walked around the town and stopped for a coffee/tea and baked goodie . I said people that read the blog are going to think the only thing we do is eat. Oh well we are having fun trying new things and we do walk a lot. That is our story and we are sticking to it.
You should see the cool metal recycling bins they have all over the place. They are nicely marked with what goes where. They even have organic bins, way ahead of us in LLB.
The weather is fantastic and it is very interesting to walk around and see all of the different shops and homes. I love all the little stores they have for fruits and vegetables, bakeries, fish markets, clothing and of course all the stuff they want us tourists to buy. We found a store today that sells products made from cork. Super cool things, but pretty pricey for this chicky. Then we continued to walk down until we were walking along the sea. Took some pictures of us doing things, seeing the Christmas decorations that they are starting to put up and more flowers.
On our walk back home we stopped to have a late lunch/early supper - again we are eating. Ed said that he wanted to try some barbecued sardines so Sharon and I were looking for a nice spot. This nice young man pointed out the good deal his restaurant was offering and we said we were waiting for our husbands to catch up. Well smart ass Tom comes up and torques on the guy about hitting on us girls wit his big muscles to get business. The guy looked a little taken a back but we ate there. The meal was very good, Ed had the sardines, Sharon and I had garlic mushrooms and Tom had a salad for starters and then all 4 of us had Paella with sangria to drink . Excellent meal with coffee for Tom, fresh pineapple for Sharon and I and Ed had a cake kinda waffle with chocolate syrup(looked very good, got to try that one when the kids come next time with fruit) for dessert. Good thing we still had a ways to walk to get back to our hotel.
On the way back Tom and decided to go by the ocean for a ways and I picked some sea shells and got a soaker with my runners. Tom was smarter and took off his sandals, all good.
When we got back to the hotel Ed and Sharon chilled out in their room and Tom and I went down by the pool. I even went for a very quick dip in the pool. It was very nice and refreshing.
I went with Ed and Sharon to happy hour and Tom just chilled in the room. When Ed went up to get wine this guy came and sat down by Sharon and tried to pick her up (not really) but kinda, his line was OH YOU ARE NOT WHO I THOUGHT YOU WERE. Ed was sitting down beside me by now and we all had a good laugh when the gentleman left. He smiled the whole time and we saw him several times just wandering around the room.
Back to the room, have tea and cookies with Tom. Now I am doing my blog and he is checking out ideas for things to do in the places we are going. Tomorrow we are off bright and early to see Granada, the bus is supposed to pick us up at 7:15. Hopefully it is not as late as last time. Oh well we will have a great time whatever happens.
