City bus to Malaga and back

Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands
Forgot to tell you yesterday that it costs 5 Euro($7.50 Canadian) to wash clothes and 3 Euro($4.50) to dry them. Good thing they have nice drying racks you can put out on your deck.
Today we decided to catch the city bus from Benalmadena to Malaga, it took us almost 1 hour to get there with all the stops to pick up people along the way . We got off down by the big shipping area, there was one cruise ship in the harbour, one Ferry, several small cruisers and a military ship. The military ship had a huge line up of people waiting to board for a tour.
We walked along by the water for awhile and then headed up the hill to see the Castillo de Gibraltar. This castle was used for 438 years exclusively for military purposes. The Castillo was used as a military garrison and coastal lookout post from 1487 to 1925.
Man oh man some crazy person (me) said we could walk up to the Castillo instead of catching a bus, it didn't look that far. Well we walked and walked and at each corner we thought we were there and then we had to climb some more. The view of Malaga from the top was awesome. Then we walked back down and checked out the little shops on the narrow streets. The weather is pretty good, a little chillier than we are used to. Tomorrow the rains are supposed to come, so we thought we would save the Picasso Museum for the next time. Only do outside stuff this time. It is a beautiful city, lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy.
Then we caught the bus back to our hotel, took about an hour. Made supper and then chilled out watching TV and doing my blog.
