Caught the bus back and forth to Malaga

Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands

Had a nice relaxing morning and then left at 11:30 to catch the bus to Malaga . It is a cool and cloudy day, and it gets worse as the day goes on. By the time we are getting ready to catch the bus back home it is POURING cats and dogs.
First we found our way to the market and it was very interesting. LOTS AND LOTS of fresh fruits and vegetables, every kind of fish and shellfish you can imagine, meats - chicken, lamb and every kind of olive you can imagine. In the corners of the market they have little tables where people stand and enjoy wine or beer and tapas. They do like to visit and enjoy life.
Then after walking a bit we stopped for coffee and I had a hot chocolate that was super thick but very good. Ed had one that was even thicker yesterday at Pueblo, it was like drinking a chocolate bar.
Next stop was another beautiful cathedral. I again put money in to light some candles for us. Then on the way out I found a man's wallet on a bench with several hundred Euros in it. Turned it into the front entrance guy. Sharon and I hope that it gets to its owner.
Some more walking in the streets and we bought some trinkets and enjoyed looking in the stores. Great way to get out of the rain. Then we went to the Picasso Museum, first I thought he was an OLD master painter not someone that was still painting in 1973. We only liked about 4 of his pictures, the rest really are pretty crazy. It is kinda like poetry you either like it and understand it or not.
Then we went and had a nice supper and enjoyed a break from the rain. When we were done it was POURING so we stopped for a coffee around the main square and waited for the Christmas lights to turn on . Well worth the wait, they just needed to have Christmas music playing.
Caught the bus back and are now cuddled up with blankets trying to get warm. I have had to do this blog 2X because there was a internet pause and I lost the first draft. BUMMER, it is not as much fun to do this twice. I did not write as much this time as the first time. Oh well you get the drift of our day.
Poor Sharon is suffering with her arthritis and sciatica but it is not stopping her. Tom has also been having lots of dizzy spells the last few days. Got to love these golden years lol.
We had a wonderful day even with the rain - saw lots of neat stuff, good food and friends. Life is grand.
Forgot to show pictures of our supper that we had Wednesday night so they are here tonight.
NOTE TO ANYONE COMING TO SPAIN - It is against the law to walk around without having ID on you. You should have a photo copy of your passport on your body. A lady from the group fell and broke her arm, when the ambulance came so did the police. They told her that she should of had ID on herself and she said it was locked in the safe in her room.
