Not a bad flight, could pick our own films so 5 hours flew(!) We arrived into Singapore and got the MRT to our hostel
. First impressions - incredibly clean, well ordered country. Not a bad hostel, after checking in we had a wander to Little India for some food. So good to be eating out again, Couple of quid for a really nice meal and a drink - a tad cheaper than Australia! Singapore is still fairly expensive, so looking forward cheap cheap cheap!

A lazy morning waiting for Ads and Aimee to arrive. Went for lunch and had a catch-up over a few beers. In the evening we had a walk around Little India and got some food.

Up at a reasonable time and headed out to the Botanical Gardens, had a walk around and some lunch. In the evening we went on a night safari around Sinapores famous zoo. Loads of nocturnal animals - tigers, lions, leopards, elephants, hyenas, bats etc. etc. Quite interesting to visit a zoo at night rather than during the day. At the show Ads was called on stage and had to hold a snake, highly amusing!

Today we took a trip to a water park during the day, nice to get out of the humidity. In the evening Aimee and I got our dresses on for a trip to Raffles for the famous Singapore sling. It was the most expensive drink ever but well worth it, we also managed to eat the whole pot of complimentary nuts.. The floor around our table was very messy after we threw all the shells straight on the floor. We all wanted to go down to the riverside so headed down to Clarke Quay, we spent the evening strolling around taking in the atmosphere before heading home for a late night feed and beer.

Up for breakfast then had to bid farewell to Ads and Aimee and jump on a bus to Jahor Bahru in Malaysia, all very straight forward.
