We arrived in Salta late and went for some traditional Argentinean grub - a bar b q grill that had some nice saussages, ribs and steak on board ...as well as a variety of organs. Lizzie wasn´t at all impressed but I loved the black pudding - a first for over three months!

Salta was just a stop-over but we decided to do something so we went up the teleferico, a cable car up a mountain over-looking the town. This was ok, but I made sure Lizzie realised she was being foolish to want to stay in Salta for another day (pretty dull, the title of this section is of course sarcastic). We did however see a truck that had crashed into a tree...highlight.

After this outing we got on a bus bound for Puerto Iguazu, on to the falls...
