We arrived into Mendoza after out LAST LONG DISTANCE BUS JOURNEY(!) which was a good feeling . We checked into our hostel and went in search of a supermarket. A sign said ´3 mins walk´ so we set off...an hour of walking later there was no sign. Eventually we found a large Wal Mart and spent over 2 hours walking around in the first proper supermarket of our trip.

In the evening we headed out to an awesome restaurant renouned for excellent steak and wine. All rather posh. I got the largest on the menu - half a kilo of tenderloin, as you can see, it was a monster - served the local way - still moving! Lizzie also had a monster and we had some local ´vino tinto´. After this we both couldn´t move.
