12 Tampa Break

We left Miami after the kids went to school and headed to Tampa without the trailer. Our objective was to help with the kids during their March break while Amanda and Danny worked.

The local park, Palma Ceia, has enough space and activities to keep the kids busy. All the kids also help with Yukon walks. With Harper and Hadley busy at other activities, the rest of us went to Armature Works for a dinner alongside the Hillsborough River; a great park to have by the water.

After another day at the park, we had a great four course fondue meal at the Melting Pot restaurant. This was a relaxing dinner which gave the kids lots to do to cook their own dinners.

Harper had two soccer games on the weekend; although both games were lost, Harper played really well and definitely has earned her starting position.

A Beekeeper visited the house to remove a large active hive in the backyard before we all went boating in Tampa‘s downtown area. The kids all had a chance to steer the boat and Harper is very proficient as a pilot. After dinner, everyone was ready for a shower and bed.
