Today I actually had plans to rent a car to head down to Litchfield NP and Adelaide River, the little township where the famous Buffalo from the movie "Crocodile Dundee" is on display ;)
Unfortunately even the cheapest rental would have cost me about $200/Day due to the additional costs per km when you get over a 100km
. Since I already spent a fortune in OZ I decided to skip it :(
Fuer heute hatte ich eigentlich geplant, mir ein Auto zu mieten um zum Litchfield NP und Adelaide River zu fahren, einem Dorf wo der beruehmte Bueffel aus dem Film "Crocodile Dundee" ausgestellt ist ;)
Leider haette mich selbst das guenstigste Auto etwa 200$/Tag gekostet, wegen der zusaetzlichen Kosten pro Km wenn man mehr als 100km gefahren ist. Und weil ich ohnehin schon ein Vermoegen in Australien ausgegeben habe, entschied ich mich schweren Herzens dagegen :(
