Picked up my laundry. Researched the internet for tickets to Cambodia and back. Change of plans. Instead of going overland from Singapore via Kuala Lumpur into Thailand to Cambodia i fly from Singapore to Phnom Penh take the bus to Angkor Wat. Come back to Phnom Penh to visit the "Killing Fields" of the Khmer Rouge and museum. And fly from Phnom Penh to KL and continue through Malaysia to Thailand. It's cheaper and saves time. First flight booked with Tiger Airways for 68$. No prob. Second flight with Air Asia. Problem! Credit card declined. What!? Call to CC company, everything is fine. Mmh. Turns out VISA terminated the partnership with Air Asia. So no one with VISA can book a flight online. Found a sales office 5km away and made it there just in time to pay that flight in cash (110$) before they closed. Yeah! Celebrated at the Sky Lounge with ribs and free! (literally HappyHour:) beer.

Holte meine Waesche ab. Suchte im Internet nach Tickets fuer Kambodscha und zurrueck. Planaenderung! Anstatt von Singapur via Kuala Lumpur und Thailand nach Kambodscha zu gehen fliege ich nun von Singapur nach Phnom Penh und nehme den Bus nach Angkor Wat. Komme dann zurrueck nach Phnom Penh und fliege von dort aus gleich nach Kuala Lumpur bevor ich dann weiter nach Thailand mit dem Zug fahre. Ist billiger und spart Zeit. Ersten Flug buchte ich mit Tiger Airways fuer 68$. Kein Poblem. Zweiter Flug mit Air Asia nach KL. Problem! Kreditkarte abgelehnt! Was!? Rief die Kreditkartengesellschaft an. Aber alles war OK. Mmh. Wie sich herausstellte, hat VISA die Partnerschaft mit Air Asia gekuendigt. Das heisst niemand kann mir VISA Karten online Fuege mit Air Asia buchen. Fand ein Air Asia Buero 5km weg und kam gerade noch rechtzeitig vor Ladenschluss um das Ticket in bar zu bezahlen (110$). Yeah! Feierte mit Koteletten und Freibier (wortwoertlich HappyHour:)
