Farmington, New Mexico, United States
Pulled out of Sedona early with Jo driving..got a good run through the Canyon and Flagstaff, the scenery changed from the Evergreen forests to red earth to undulating hills white hills then back to Red.. amazing really. Turned off at Kayenta and headed to Monument Valley..Navajo land .....everything is Indian owned.. $5.00 a head to enter and WOW what an wonderful vista of red earth and huge red Buttes of mountain. They have a track that runs about 17 miles around all the monuments and it was pretty rough in parts and funny watching people in little cars going over this rough road, obviously hire cars..But it was a fantastic road trip ..
After we left we headed to the dining room in the visitors centre and and had a lunch of Blue Indian flat bread taco ...which was described as a tasting plate and listed as an appetiser !!! Big understatement..see photo, we were just happy we didnt order the Large one..

We left Monument Valley which is in Utah and headed east to the border where we crossed into Colerado for about 5 minutes then into Arizona then we came upon the 4 corners ...a Navajo site $3 entry where 4 states all meet....Arizona, Utah, Colerado & New mexico. Another photo opportunity.

Then it was into New Mexico and onto Farmington where we will spend 2 nights...Coming in we noticed a large Walmart, open 24 hours so after checking in Jo & I went to Walmart..so keep an eye out for us when you next get a Walmart email..lol
Bedtime for me now as we have lost an hour, Mesa Verde tomorrow.
