After a wild night at Brimstone and very little sleep, we were up early and on the road to get into the Ferry queue.. The locals drop their cars off early then come back when the ferry comes in. We just sat in the car and read and slept for a couple of hours. Finally in she came and we were off.. This trip went via the Change Islands so was about an hour. When they called us to get in our cars we went out the wrong exit and lost our car.. It was a bit scary as we thought we were going to hold everyone up while we looked for our car ! Lucky that didn't happen and we were back on the mainland and choofing off to the Trans Canada Hwy. We did a pit stop in Lewisporte and found a Tims so we stopped in to upload our Blog and check emails etc. Lunch was good too.
Tonight we are staying in a Motel unit at Bishop Falls and its wonderful . After the tent for a few nights its certainly a treat to have a good shower and real bed and a TV so we are lapping it up.
It was 34 degrees here today, who would have thought it would get that hot here !! I bought only one pair of shorts and 2 short sleeved shirts so they are getting a workout. I bought a singlet top to.. Most of the locals wear Lycra 3/4 pants and singlet tops, no matter what size they are. There were kids all in the pool at the motel.
