Kamloops Friday :        Finally after what feels like a month we have arrived back in the Loops. We are backed up in Lynne & Mike Driveway and we are wifi'd up. Tomorrow is a big sort out day as we will be coming back here so we can leave all our souvenirs behind at Lynnes. I was keen for a walk when we arrived so off I went to the Bottle shop as I was keen for a drink too.   Off I trotted down the hill , a beautiful day happy to be back and at one with nature. It brings back many memories walking around here from when we lived here. I called in on our friend Penny and had another quick catchup, met with her daughter Darla and finally got to meet Hayden the new Grandson. He was totally gorgeous. Funny how everyones life changes and moves on. On further down the hill to the Bottlo I went, by the time I got down to Rodgers way I was busting so decided to go into the Coastal Hotel to sneak a quick squat, just as I got there a tour bus pulled up and as I went in I was greeted by the Consierge , he was thinking I was part of the tour that had just pulled in.. anyway told him I was meeting someone in the bar and off I went. When I came out I was face to face with Heston Bloomenthall !! It was an English tour group, they must have been over knighting from the Rocky Mountaineer....Made my day Of course when I told Lynne & Katie they had no idea who he was and had to google him..

I picked up my wine ..I got my usual '"Koonunga Hill" was still embarrassed to see so much bloody Yellowtail on the shelf, I also found an old US favourite "Beringer" both reds. I also found some like King sized Strongbow cans so I got some of those as well. So there I was fully loaded up, backpack full with wine and all my special stuff and water & cider in a bag and up the road I Trotted, what I had totally forgotten was just how steep the Pacific Way road was. It nearly killed me. I kicked myself a thousand times over for buying too much... I was even thinking I would catch the bus back up but alas no buses !! Anyway I earned my can of cider tonight.
Lynne & Kaff have gone out so I am sitting watching TV Yay!! OMG how I have missed it.
