Maryville WA, Washington, United States
Maryville WA Friday:    Up early to clean the RV and pack everything. Raining again but that's to be expected in this part of the world. Ended up with too much food left over as usual so we packed it so Kaff could find someone to give it too. We pulled out of Hope and topped up the fuel and gas and were off down the Highway. It rained all the way. We pulled into Chilliwack to top up the fuel again as we didn't want to leave them with more than what we started with... Right next door to the Gas Station was a Salvation Army place so Kaff found a nice lady to give our left overs too so she was happy it didn't go to waste. Back on the Highway and headed to Delta to the Cruise Canada Depot..we were not sure we could find it again as we got lost in the cab going there to start with. Mike lent us his Garmin GPS but she shut down when we got on the new road, so it was up to us two who barely remember our own names to try and remember the way in reverse. Turned out we were champions as we made it with out any U turns or blockies. Excellent. We were a bit worried about our missing bucket which I had accidently packed the left over food in and given away, we also had 2 chips in the windscreen and a cupboard that wouldn't close and the bloke gave us the big tick and we got off free..Yay,. We were a bit excited about that.  We won the most Kilometres driven for the week as we drove over 10,000 Klms I was a bit disappointed there was not trophy involved.
The taxi took us into town for about $20 less than the previous driver...not to self...Don't trust any cab drivers that wear Turbans. We got dropped at Thrifty in Seymour Street and we picked up a Rav 4 and then we were back on the road in a slightly smaller vehicle so it felt like we were sitting on the road. The Garmin GPS couldn't pick up anything in the city so we had to Wing it and we made it out OK. We joined the line up at Peace Arch the Border crossing and it took us 1 hour and 10 minutes to get through. So we beat the Kamloopian girls by 10 minutes. We had a quick lunch in Blaine at an "Eric" style Café and then we were off down the freeway, speed limit 70 MPH but Kaff was driving and thought that was too outrageous so happily sat on 60 MPH.
We headed to Tulalip Premium Outlet shopping centre right beside a huge Casino and lucky for me a Huge Walmart..Whos a happy camper..mememe.
Burlington WA Saturday :    Big day out at the shops today. We started at the Premium Outlets in Tulalip and founs some absolute bargains . A pair of pants in GAP which were $44 in Kamloops were $17 here, I found my favourite Lucky Brand store and got a bag as well as DNKY and more. After we had finished we decided to travel about 30 minutes north again to Mount Vernon where we booked a room and we went to the Burlington Shopping Mall . First stop was lunch at Applebees where I got amongst some ribs, Kaff had some pasta then it was directly to the Mall.  Macys was a hit with lots of bargains and TJMaxx didn't let me down again. LOve love love shopping in America. We did have to leave some bargains behind due to luggage issues but we are now resting up in our room at the Best Western.
