Tigers...? What tigers

Jaipur, Rajasthan, India
Third time lucky... I've lost this entry twice so far so this will be a severely edited version..
After a good nights sleep the wake up call came at 0600hrs ..so it was up and at them.. thankfully the hot water was good today as it was only tepid last night.
As we got on the Canter we were handed a blanket, thank god they did as when we took off it was freezing.. It was all to no avail as we drove around that park for another 3 hours and saw zero.. I am beginning to think all the Indian Tiger stories are made up.. But Apparently one of the other Canters saw three...yeah right !
So back at the Lodge we breakfasted then finished packing and were on the bus headed to Jaipur.
It took us about 4 hours I guess, the Lodge had given us a packed lunch so we didn't have to stop..only for Pee breaks..
The countryside was rich farmland and very nice, we passed through a few small town and there's always something to see..at one the bus stopped so we could get photo of a small girl walking a tightrope.. of course money was passed through the bus window... we saw some terrific overloaded trucks and the usual filled to the brim local tuk tuks.. We are seeing more Camels now, pulling trailers one Camel driver on his phone ..not sure if that's legal ??
Benny Hill succumbed to the vomiting bug overnight and had to get a needle from the doctor so he could travel..gosh I hope it doesn't hit everyone..It's hard not to pick something up as the food is so different and your near different people all the time, the money is also pretty dirty..
We arrived in Jaipur mid afternoon. Driving through the slum area which is right next to millionaires row.. The hotel is a Sheraton and very nice.
After an hour to sort ourselves out we took off for the Bizarre..that was a lot of fun and we all managed to barter a bargain or two. On the way home we stopped at a temple.
Peter stayed behind at the hotel as her needed to get some tablets, so had to call a doctor who checked him over and gave him a prescription and letter. It cost him around $20 A I think or there abouts. He has started to get a head cold so all in all quite miserable, add to that not seeing a tiger he's pretty down in the dumps..He might have to go to the zoo.
Dinner was the usual curry mix so I can't come at it yet after my dose of the squirts so I ordered room service.. Vishel got worried when we didn't come down to dinner and called us up..
Anyway tomorrow is a new day I hope Peter manages a good night sleep..

It is a shame about the tigers! Especially when another crew maybe saw some.

Hope you are both on the mend.
Keep the photos coming! Maybe there are no tigers in India.
