Cruisung from Germany to Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden
Saturday, May 24  We do not sleep late, but this is a sea day so we do not have any pressing appointments. We meet with the group going to St Petersburg about that tour. We see the amber display in the shops. There will be lots of Russian objects for sale later in the cruise. These items are pricey! The painted lacquer boxes are hand painted, some with single hair brush strokes. They started in price about $155 for maybe 3X5 inches. The nesting dolls were much more, but they were very good quality. They also have hand painted and carved Christmas items. We attended the captain repeat cruisers event. Mostly free drinks and snacks. They are well attended. Susan will go anywhere she can order a free coke. There are some talks about the ports we attend. This is the first cruise were we are moved up in loyalty benefits. We get free drinks at five o'clock in a lounge. They will not allow us to take them away so we have to go there so that the coke-aholic can get her fix!!! The missing couple from our table show up. They had missed there flight to Amsterdam and had been rerouted for a couple of days in Germany. They are from California too. We get some free laundry this trip so we bag up jeans and shirts to try this.

Hey guys-----we have been stuck in router "never land" here in Alabama-----three days with very spotty service. When possibly I have tracked the Constellation on line and sent several emails------have no clue if they are here, in the cloud, or in the Baltic. In any event-----happy sailing!

Cheers,
Frank and MA
