Arriving in Brussels

Brussels, Belgium
Arrived in Brussels at 12.20pm after our train trip from Luxembourg City. We walked about 300m to our hotel, Aris Centre Hotel, which was a 2 minute walk from the Grand Place. Our room was ready so we checked in and then walked to the Tourist Information Centre for a city map before having a sandwich for lunch in the Grand Place.
After lunch we went in search of an ATM and finally found on just off the Grand Place after walking around the block.
We decided to check out the Chocolate Museum which was a major disappointment and nowhere near worth the €5 entry fee.
We then walked to the train station to check the train timetable for trains to Bruges the next day then headed back to the hotel via a covered arcade and Rue de Bouchers and its endless restauraunts. We stopped at McDonalds for a Sundae before arriving at the hotel for a rest.
We set out for dinner at 6pm and wandered down Rue de Bouchers eventually deciding to eat at La Corte Gastronomica which had good food and was about one or two Euro cheaper than any other restaurant.
We bought waffles for dessert from a waffle shop near the hotel before returning to the hotel for the night.
