Diving is fun

Koh Tao, Thailand
After almost two weeks of sun & diving here on Koh Tao, it's time to leave. Kristina wants to continue our trip, so we'll be staying away until just before the funeral. We've been in touch with If (our insurance company, who are great by the way), and they are sorting out tickets for us to fly home on the 11th of Feb. Georg's funeral will be on the 16th.

The time here has been great . We've stayed at Taa Toh Lagoon Dive 'Resort' (wooden bungalow, great view, cold water, no towels, toilet paper or soap for 400 Baht), where we did our dive course and a whole bunch of fun dives since then. Kristina has done a couple of dives since the course and is keen to dive some more, but only when the conditions are nice & only to shallow depths. Me, I love it and will be diving as often as I can (time & money permitting - it isn't exactly a cheap sport).

Lot's of time on the beach, wandering around, eating fantastic barbequed fish & seafood (Buddha View restaurant on Chalok Ban Kao beach, at the resort of the same name). It has been a really relaxing 2 weeks, in spite of everything.

Tomorrow we make our way over to the other side, down to the islands in the Andaman Sea...
