So, I have just over a week to kill before it's time to put my coat back on and head down to El Fin Del Mundo once more. I am getting more and more excited about this trip to Antarctica each day and I cannot believe it is almost here :D A quick pit stop in Buenos Aires before a week in Uruguay allowed me to go to the Andy Warhol exhibition that I missed first time I was here, and also as Maaike was in town I got to have a reunion with her. It also gave me the opportunity to enquire about potentially doing my solo skydiving course here, and to ditch my big backpack at the hostel to lighten my load for Uruguay for a welcome break from packing and carrying so much stuff.

The Andy Warhol exhibition was very interesting and I got to the see the famous "Marilyn" prints in the flesh, as well as many other examples of his work. Some of it was very weird and wonderful indeed. It was of course fantastic as always to catch up with Maaike over drinks, dinner and dancing to share stories of our travels from the past month whilst fending off the various boludos who kept trying to interrupt our conversation.

Buenos Aires is a fantastic city and I am already looking forward to returning here in a week to catch up with the guys I met in Mendoza to get a local perspective on a city that I have enjoyed so much as a tourist. And there you have it... my shortest ever blog entry!
