It felt good having a free morning with the 3 pm wedding rehearsal planned for 3 pm in Oxnard, about 6 miles away from here. The wedding will be on a paddle boat called "The Scarlet Bell" 

Bev and I drove our in the morning to make sure we knew how to get to the venue . We had lunch at a Brazilian restaurant which was very nice with a harbor view of the marina at Oxnard. Lots of boats of various sizes and shapes.  

At 3 pm we went out for the wedding rehearsal and met Patti Bergstrom for the first time. She was there with her two daughters Rebecca and Tammy.  

Also, Larry Darden's two sons were there: Scott and Ted along with his wife Colleen.  

From the Cincinnati area some of Larry's extended family also was present: Malinda Legg, Michelle Morris, Dave Clemenson (whose wife Charlotte died a little over a month ago)

We held a rehearsal managed well by"GJ," a real people person who did a great job having all of us do what we had to do.  

Afterwards we all went to a Mexican restaurant Yolanda's a few miles away and had a great evening. I really enjoyed seeing the interaction of the two new families that are combining and will be one tomorrow. That's how today went.  

Tomorrow, January 1st is the wedding.
