Nick and Megan picked us up at the Cluny Lodge at 8:30 am. We have two private appointment with people to discuss church and LifeNets matters. All discussions tend to go a long time, but they are very thorough. We have three shop areas for the street. Two are profitable and one is not and we’re deciding what to do.
The church hall has really been cleaned up. Beverly insists that the windows be sparkling clean. And, they were! We are pleased with the continual development of this congregation.
Then, with Nick and Megan we went to Galitos Chicken again at the Shop Rite shopping center. Then back to the Cluny Lodge to relax a bit before going to the Passover service. Sunset is about 5:35 pm and Passover is scheduled for 6 pm.
Nick helps me with the service. Cephas Chapamba translates into Chewa. It was so good to see people we know and love. Jessie and Fraser Nglube, Lester Njewa and her son Chifundo, Nestor Phiri, Howard and Ruth, Rosalynn Rashid, Haiton Thungula, Patricia Chapamba, Juliana Kachali, Alice Cbonde, Esther Chilopora, Wilfred Tchitseme and others. Sam Chilopora was not able to make it because he had been hospitalized. He will be 90 on September 19th. Again, it was wonderful seeing them all. The road in front of the church is pitch black. We are glad that we have a good Hilux vehicle of new vintage. So good to drive a reliable vehicle.
All dispersed and the Lamoureux’s took us back to our lodge.
