The countries and reasons for this trip are quite varied. Here is a summary of what we plan to do.

1. Western Ukraine
Here we visit people of like faith with whom we've maintained a friendship for the past 15 years. We will visit two of their congregations (Khust and Rokosova) on the Sabbath where I will speak. Katherine Rowland (we will introducing all the participants on this trip as the blog continues) will sing.

It's been two years since visitng here last and we have some items to catch up on. First, we are going to publish about 16,000 pieces of literature at Ivan Yurishko's print shop in Russian and Swedish. This will include five lessons of the Bible Study Course and the Swedish booklet The Road to Eternal Life.

We will also visit LifeNets projects in the area. One is the computer schools that we have established in three Transcarpathia locations. Also, we will visit our street children and orphan program in Vinogradov.

2. Chernobyl
For ten years we've been supporting the "Revival" Centre for Disabled Children located about 40 miles east of the ill-fated Chernobyl nuclear power plant. On June 14th there will be a special celebration of the tenth anniversary. We are looking forward to seeing our friends with whom we have worked cooperatively to build and maintain a center that has helped hundreds of disabled Children.
