Final stop: Sweden

Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
We arrive in Sweden on Wednesday evening, June 21st and will stay with Paul and Kira Spenser in Mjolby, located about 85 miles south of Stockholm. Paul and Kira are very good friends whom we have gotten to know in several trips to the United Kingdom in 2002. They were married in 2001 in Linkoping, now far from where they live now and you can see their wedding photos on my site here. Paul and Kira Spenser attended the Feast of Tabernacles last fall in Estonia.

While visiting with them we plan to have a church service where a number of other families from Sweden will come. One family from Norway may be there, too. A letter of invitation was was sent to all Good News readers as well. I plan to do a PowerPoint presentation about Chernobyl from where I'll be coming. I'll talk about the implications of this disaster in the dangerous times we live. Sweden was the first country to report the Chernobyl disaster to the world when the USSR was trying to cover up and minimize the nuclear accident that spewed out many times over the radioactive fallout of Hiroshima and Nagasaki over Europe.

That covers the layout of the journey. The four of us meet at the airport at 10:15 am and head for Europe!!
