Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles
Sunday - not sure about the last entry - the connection was the worst to date also the most expensive - although still reasonable!!
Relly liked St Lucia not so humid - still very hot and sun really bright - not the place to bring
rosecea, as I have done!! -- the sail out from St Lucia very pretty calm about 13knots - dinner with a couple from St Petersburg Florida- so they shared lots of driving tips!!
Monday - at sea . still using purell at every opportunity - going into the buffet exiting the buffet -
attend aerobics sitting in a chair!! also a cooking show!! - and a presentation on what it is like to work
on a cruise ship - most of our crew are from Indonesia and spend 8-9mos on board and home for
2 or 3. Officers mostly Dutch - captain is US and entertainers are - I think - mostly US...although
our favorite duet 'Adagio' sound Russian? - violin/piano we usually catch them every evening.
Pam went to cinema Lincoln - last night.
Tuesday - enjoyed breakfast all alone on the rear (aft?) deck - still possible on a ship with 1,200 passengers!! - buffet choice includes just about everything you could imagine for breakfast - the bacon, sausages ham are piled high and eggs of every description - There is no self-serve due
to the virus outbreak so service is a little cumbersome - no touching!!
Of course the dining room is more formal and I find the service very slow - food choices are interesting and tasty and always a couple of vegetarian options and no-sugar desserts!
|Had a beer with hamburger lunch it was $6 for Stella Artois and an earlier glass of wine was $10.
We stuffed a bag full of laundry which goes for $20 a bag!!

Hope to add some pictures -
