All flights went well - surprisingly (given last flight experience) the movie choices were awful!
But did watch a great doc on the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and want to go and see the
Erskine/American pavilion which was a United Church I attended in another life!

Bought a NY Times Sunday edition for the flights and there was lots to read! Did you know marriage announcements give the age of the bride and details of her and the groom's education, employment and that of parents!! - and fill 2 full pages -- and Im told wedding gifts are archaic!! - the one wedding 'write-up' stressed that the groom had been understood to be a committed bachelor! - I think gifts are welcome in NY City!!

Flight Calgary-MH reminded me of a flight in Africa - similar small plane and 'weight' was asked
to sit in the front seats (total of about 10 passengers) so you know I was front row -- ah well at
least I was first off!!

My niece's birthday last night and a casual pizza meal with all attending - enjoyable.

oh yes, thunder showers here today - lilacs about the same as Ottawa but other flowers not yet
as advanced.

Quick tour of Medicine Hat this morning and stop for coffee - going to an 'inside' farmer's market
this evening - will include dinner -- looking forward to that!
