Wednesday - up at 5.30am - a little cloudy and cool - Pam plans a day in her garden plot
after dropping me at Victoria airport - AC staff is cheery and helpful - a good start to an all 
day flight!
One hour in Vancouver easy change to Ottawa flight - it is packed - can't find a newspaper Im told they pass them out onboard - haven't seen that done for ages - and because I
am at the back of the bus - row 33 - 'we'll probably run out before we get to you' -- I try to convince
a passenger going to row 14 to get 2 - no go, but he does say he'll share his copy (if he gets
one) ok it's the best I can do -- then whatha - we board last first - I tell 'the guy in 14' to forget it
and ask the cabin steward - he agrees to deliver same -- minutes later I have my G/M!!

Two periods of 'turbulence' and because I am next to the lavatory I hear the stewardess tell at
least 5 people -" the seat belt sign is on, you need to sit down, if you stay here you do so at your
own risk" - how does that make you feel as you are on the 'throne' -- we make it through, my
Tim Horton sandwich (air travel has lost it's charm) sustains me and we arrive on time to an
absolutely beautiful day -- oh yes, when you're in row 33 toilet flushing is the constant 'white
noise' of the flight!

Arrival at 2019 I cannot use the front door!! The window replacement job has begun and I think
they are working on the 7th floor - yes, I enter my unit to a man peering in from the outside - not a common occurrence when you live on the 7th floor!! He is working on the 2nd window replacement!! --- my neighbour (who was checking my unit) tells me that he heard someone in
my unit today - and they seemed to be repeatedly blowing their nose ??? - odd -- he
calls back later to say - wait a minute, perhaps it was the sound of the electric drill as they replaced your windows ------ oh, its good to be home?
