Sept 19/20 - in Red Deer and wrote a 'draft' seems it has been deleted...having problems connecting with Skype this morning - just not my day for electronics!

Briefly RD hasn't changed a whole lot - this is good - lots of trees beautiful colours and wow!
is it quiet -- memories of Carling Ave in my head this is quiet!

Drove by my old neighbourhood - and house - looking good. Fish both nights at the Lysengs
beautiful cooked and Mohamed repeating 'get the recipe' for the salmon rub!! 
At one lunch he had mashed potates and fell in love asked me if I knew how to prepare!! - oh
for the old days when I was 'known' as a good cook -- all behind me (literally).

Hot tub at theLysengs again another hit - sky was clear - after a short but noisy thunderstorm!
Interesting to see lovely (big) new houses listing for $600,000 - bargains!

Saturday morning visit the 'souk' - Red Deers farmer's market - try explaining Hutterites - ok
moving along - lots of choice in BC apples - again where to find a Globe/Mail ?? - the largest
hotel in Town doesn't even have a smoke shop so --- never mind we find one - my reading for
the next week.
Off to Ponoka (it means Black Elk in Cree) - lovely lunch with Deb and tour of the countryside -
Gull Lake, Pigeon Lake Village - small cafe with very interesting menu - 
Sunday morning - problems with skype, ichat you name it -- hallelujah the telephone is working!!
